What is Counselling?

Counselling

Counselling frequently involves talking about difficult experiences and feelings. We’ll work together to find tools that will help you to manage the stresses of daily life and rediscover who you are.

Counselling isn’t about being given advice but instead, it’s about being given the space and time for self-reflection and processing. Space and time is something that is often hard to come by for people who care for others. Yet it is essential to our own refuelling and sense of wellbeing. It’s the ultimate self-care for both you and your family.

Someone who ‘gets it’

Counselling

In our Counselling sessions you can say what needs to be said and talk to someone who ‘gets it’. There is no pressure to act or be a certain way in your Counselling sessions. Simply come along as you are. I will support you to share and explore at a pace that feels safe and right for you. I’m a neurodivergent affirming Counsellor, who is learning all the time about how different we all are.
